Cemetery Walk

On October 8, 2023 the Jeremiah Clark Chapter had the honor of participating in the Lakeview Cemetery walk, hosted by the Sashabaw Plains Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) chapter. This collaborative event brought together like-minded individuals with a deep appreciation for our nation's roots, fostering a sense of community and connection.

The Lakeview Cemetery, steeped in history and adorned with the stories of those who shaped the community, served as the perfect backdrop for this enlightening event. Attendees, guided by knowledgeable historians and storytellers, embarked on a journey through time, discovering the rich tapestry of lives that contribute to the area's heritage.

Wreaths Across America

The Jeremiah Clark Chapter would like to say "Thank You" to all that donated to the Wreaths Across America Project. A number of our members along with spouses braved the cold to lay wreaths at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly MI on December 16, 2023. A special thank you to one of our soon to be member James Pabst for participating and supplying the pictures. Dan and Harold Branson, along with their father, participated in Wreaths Across America this year after ordering the Wreaths from the Jeremiah Clark Chapter Web site. The boys are both interested in history and join their father in metal detecting in and around Oakland County when ever they get a chance. Dan is in the Junior Honor Society and we sure Harold will follow in his brothers footsteps.
